Edisha Ocaya whose house was set ablaze by unknown person.

A physically handy capped woman has been left stranded in Kanyagoga A ward, Bardege Layibi Division in Gulu City after unknown person set her grass thatched hut on fire.

The victim is 78-year-old Edisha Ocaya who uses a wheelchair for mobility.

Ocaya, a petty trader at Wigot Market located in the same area told The Xtremewood reporters that she was at the market when her hut was set on fire at around 3:00pm burning all her property including 800,000 shillings she was keeping under her bed.

She appealed to well-wishers to help saying she now has nothing including food to eat and clothes.

The L.C111 Councilor for Kanyagoga B sub ward, Reagan Kajura has asked for information that could help trace people behind the arson saying they must face the law.
