Kyagulanyi made the remarks shortly after security forces on Monday surrounded his home in Magere, Wakiso district hours to Museveni’s swearing in.

Equally, FDC had reported that the home of Dr. Kizza Besigye, their former leader, had been sealed off by forces.

“They have mounted tents and camped all over. As he [Museveni] plans to swear himself in and yet again enthrone himself to oppress our people, we too shall continue doing everything within our power to bring down his oppressive regime of blood. The emperor is more naked than he has ever been,” he noted.

He claimed that abductions of his supporters had resumed between Sunday and Monday.

“We have received reports of over 50 comrades have abducted in different areas of Kampala and Wakiso. They [security agencies] have been doing random operations and picking people up in Kamwokya and the surrounding areas,” he claimed.

Among those abducted, according to Kyagulanyi is Zale, Kamya and Sharif adding that some of these people were apprehended for allegedly playing and selling his music.

Speaking to the media on Monday, UPDF deputy Spokesperson, Deo Akiiki confirmed security presence at Kyagulanyi’s home stating that the move was only meant to offer him protection ahead of the swearing in ceremony.

President Museveni is expected to swear-in for his sixth term on Wednesday 12 , in a scientific ceremony that will be attended by only 4,042 people.
