The police in Pader District have arrested the Incharge of Puranga HC3 for embezzlement of Polio Vaccination Money.

According to the Pader Resident District Commisioner Milton Odongo, the Incharge, identified as Alfred Okwonga embezzeled Polio Vaccination Money he received in his Accounts on 30th Nov 22,for payment of 16 VHTs,16 LC1 Chairpersons,16 Health workers and 4 parish supervisors all from Puranga Town council.
Mr. odongo said the president’s directives on Zero Tolerance to Corruption has to be implemented to the dot Without fear or Compromise.
Pader District have also directed imnediate arrest of Lagen Erick the Health Asst of Angagura HC3 whose Accounts was used as aconduit to wire 3.6M Shs.
The police recovered 2,022,000Shs From Okwonga Alfred as Exibit and investigation into the matter have commenced.
